Thanks for answering; being a professional trainer means you have the time to jump rope 3 hrs a day, but not all peoples are that lucky, lol; i only have 1-11/2 hrs availabale a day, so i use a weighted rope and this way i save time; 1/2 hour rope, about 4-6 rounds heavy bag and than some weights lifting

1 – 3 hours a day
6 days a week
Just burn more calories than you eat. Don’t think of weight loss as an exact science. Just take it one day at a time.

You can definitely lose weight. Try to jump up to an hour, so you tap into your fat storage.

It depends on your current diet. Low calorie foods. Just pick foods low in sugar and low in fat. That’s it. What helped me was to make a list of foods that fit this and stick with the list.

I personally like speed ropes because it helps me go faster. Weighted ropes will make you sweat quicker due to the extra weight. Personal preference I guess.

@razor02134 With jumping rope it took me 4 weeks to lose 20 pounds, but I also was swimming here and there and eating right. But that’s a rough estimate as everyone’s body is different. Upto almost 60 pounds now and it’s been 12 weeks.
